The GGA Packaging Division of George Gordon Associates has been providing packaging solutions and equipment since 1963. We continue to offer custom-tailored packaging system solutions over a wide range of applications. Our products fall into four primary categories: wrappers; wrapper in-feeds with positioning; pouch filling and handling; and converting equipment.

George Gordon Assoc. is a supplier of high-speed shrink wrapping, wrapping infeed, flow wrapping and shrink tunnel equipment. Featured machines include the AccuWrap BA-2000S, a multi-axis, servo-controlled, wrapper designed for all purpose wrapping, designed for high speeds, high efficiency, and easy maintenance. Other machines include the GPS-2000H inverted flow wrapper system, providing high-efficiency solutions for multi-item kit packaging. A geometrically-shaped forming plate eliminates the need for a forming box, reducing set-up and overcoming a major catch point problem area.

George Gordon Assoc. is a supplier of wrapping infeed and synchronizing infeed systems that handle products ranging from randomly spaced chocolate bars to pizza with toppings. Highlights from the GGA Packaging conveying product line include the GGA Packaging RightMove™ with synchronized positioning technology that repositions randomly-spaced products and delivers them perfectly synchronized into the flight spacing of the wrapper conveyor at high speeds and with friction free, no scuff handling. The Cross Conveyor is a bucket-style conveyor used for infeed applications such as depositing either hand- or machine-picked items into the flow wrapper conveyor in time with the flight.

Feeding & Inserting Equipment

George Gordon Assoc. supplies desiccant placing and pouch placing systems. The PPS-1000D Desiccant Placing System accurately cuts and places packets into a bottle on a high-speed bottling line. Besides desiccant applications, the system can be used in oxygen absorber placing, EAS packet placing, wet nap and condiment placing. The PPS-5000L Pouch Placing System cuts and places large web string pouches into a conveyor flight or cartoner tray with dual outfeed for high-speed packaging lines; typical applications include inserting liquid pouches, sauces, spices and cheese pouches into packages.
