Lyco Manufacturing Inc. manufactures a wide range of food processing equipment including blanchers, cookers, and coolers. In addition, Lyco supplies peeler/washer/scrubber equipment and specialized green bean processing equipment. Featured in Lyco’s food processing equipment line are the Clean-Flow® Blanchers, developed to address the need for faster sanitation cleanup time so that prepared meal operations could run many different products in a day; the Clean-Flow in Place System can clean over 98% by itself. Chill-Flow™ Pouch Coolers are used for cooling many different pouch sizes of sauces, pizza sauce, chowders, and soups. Lyco Manufacturing Inc. is an original equipment manufacturer of pasteurizers for food and liquid processing applications. Designed as a variation of Lyco’s 30 year old rotary drum blanchers/cooker designs, pasteurizers have different heating systems, different controls and a higher level of USDA/MID sanitation design features. First used in 1988, Lyco’s pasteurizers are now capable of running packages from very small pouches to 5 to 10 lb pouches. Featuring a Rotary Drum System, Lyco’s pasteurizers provide uniform process results, are easier to clean than belt systems and have only one major rotating component – the cylinder – which doesn’t damage pouches or wear out and need replacement.
