Diagraph’s Platinum E-Series print-and-apply automated labeling systems feature smart technology that uses sensors to reduce label application complications, ensuring a one-to-one label to product match. These all-electric servo-driven automated pressure-sensitive labeling systems enable manufacturers to completely replace conventional pneumatic systems with a fully electric option that controls the label with pinpoint accuracy in side, top, bottom and corner-wrap applications throughout travel. The smart, all-electric design allows for automated real-time adjustments, making applying labels on products with varying heights, distances and speeds easier.
HERMA US Inc.
Herma US manufactures label applicators, label machines, manual label dispensers and print-and-apply systems. Highlighted in the product range is Herma's line of labeling machines designed for side labeling (one or two side plus L- and C-shape), wrap-around labeling (positioned to a specific feature), as well as top and bottom labeling of products. Typical models of this type of machine include the models 132M, 040M (both for wrap-around labeling), 362M, 362E, 362C (for side labeling), 152C and 152E (also for wrap-around labeling), 452C, 552C and 652C (for top and bottom labeling).
Labelmate USA offers label applicators for bottles, boxes, and flat objects. The Bottlemate-1510P is designed to quickly and accurately label all types of cylindrical containers such as wine bottles by simply inserting the container and pressing a footswitch. Labelmate USA’s Boxmate line applies labels to boxes from 6- to 12-in. Wide. The Versamate-300 can label pouches, bags, envelopes and other flat items at speeds of up to 1,200 pieces per hour. In addition to pre-printed label applicators, Labelmate supplies a range of other labeling equipment, including label rewinders, label dispensers, core chucks, label unwinders, label counters and label slitting machinery.
The all new MSSC label dispensers and applicators are now able to integrate with the Smart-Jet series of inkjet printers, allowing for unique date/lot coding and labeling all at once. This integration allows for better inventory control and compliance with date/lot coding standards.
Omron Automation Americas
Omron’s V275 barcode quality grading system is used in conjunction with Zebra thermal printer/applicators and complies with ISO 15426 and GS1 standards, required for compliance to industry regulations such as FDA. With inspection reports for 100% of produced labels, users can be assured that full compliance with regulations is achieved, and that no products are shipped with defective labels.
Pineberry Manufacturing integrates inkjet and labeling technologies to full transports, including feeders, vacuum conveyors, exit conveyors, or simple friction feeders for marking, labeling, coding, personalization, and more. Featured labeling machines include the Compact CartonTrac FC – Flat Carton Packaging and Serialization Solution, a small footprint solution (measuring 59.50 inches long by 32.56 inches wide), designed for complex coding and high resolution thermal inkjet printing requirements for packaging and pharmaceutical serialization and track & trace information. Flat cartons are placed on the Pineberry HSF 12 Friction Feeder and are dispensed as single products on a vacuum conveyor. The products are transported through the feeder exit, and the system prints variable serialized data onto flat cartons. The integrated camera system verifies the data.
The Labelmoto® electric label dispensers automatically peel and advances a wide range of labels and die-cut parts made from clear materials such as vinyl and acetate. The LD series has a photosensor, which ensures that the unit peels, dispenses, and advances accurately and consistently. The liner scrap is automatically rewound for a clean working environment. No tools are required to adjust the dispenser for different label sizes. It also has an adjustable strip plate for hard-to-release labels. The dispenser has a high-torque motor to handle the weight of large-diameter label rolls. It is suitable for industrial uses such as manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.
