Side-grip ionized air rinsers offer an effective means for removing particulate materials from empty containers prior to filling. Ionized air rinser is simple to operate and easily configured to handle a variety of bottles. Descon’s lay-down head space sterilizers gently change the orientation of a hot-filled container so that the hot product fills the head space until sterilization is reached. Standard unit suits a variety of hot-filled containers (PET, HDPE, glass), with minimal changeover and automatic adjustment to line speed.
Douglas Machines Corp.
Douglas Machines’ washers, available in a variety of styles, are designed to quickly and efficiently clean and sanitize bulk ingredient containers such as vats, bins and IBC totes. Some models can process one or two containers of various sizes at the same time. Various combinations of rotating, oscillating and fixed jet models are available, depending on the size of the washer model. In addition to container washers, Douglas Machine offers more than 80 models of industrial washing and sanitizing systems for food processing and other plants, including sheet, pot, pan, and mold tunnel washers, rack washers, scale parts washers, smoke truck washers, conveyorized tunnel washers, belt washers, rotary batch washers, wash racks, and various container washers.
Kaps-All Packaging Systems Inc
Kaps-All makes bottle and container cleaning equipment including CLEAN-N-VAC Models AC-35 and AC-65, designed to automatically invert bottles and remove dust, dirt, carton lint and other foreign matter from container, using a combination of high pressure, ionized air, and highly efficient vacuuming. The ionizing neutralizes static electricity freeing dust and dirt for effective cleaning. Machines invert the containers over an effective cleaning area of up to 30 inches. Models are available as standalone units or in conjunction with other equipment such as a Kaps-All's filler, capper, orienting and unscrambling equipment or can be integrated into a complete bottling line.
Designed to efficiently clean particulate from most types of containers, Kinsley Air/Bottle Rinser systems feature an inline product flow design that utilizes easily installed inverting blocks and counter rotating feed screws that control container movement through the system.
Liquid Packaging Solutions
Liquid Packaging Solutions manufactures automatic and semi-automatic bottle rinsing machinery. Inverting rinsers can use air, water, product or other liquid to remove dust and debris from containers prior to the introduction of product. Bottle vacuums offer an alternative to inverting using special nozzles and an air rinse prior to vacuuming.
McBrady Engineering specializes in bottle cleaning and rinsing machinery. Featured machines include the ORBIT cleaner/rinser line, with five models designed for every container and bottle cleaning need. The ORBIT’s design allows it to mount over an existing conveyor, leaving a small footprint and a simpler integration into the existing line. Cleans by direct tube injection of air, liquid, steam or gas to thoroughly clean the inside of the bottle. The HS-300 High Speed Gripper Bottle Cleaner is designed to clean bottles ranging from 1 oz to 1 gallon, at speeds of up to 400 bpm (for a standard 8 oz bottle). Bottle Dusters are designed to clean the tops, bottoms, sides and rims of bottles, cans and containers using ionized compressed air, brushing, spinning, and vacuuming to quickly and effectively remove dust, powder and debris.
Morrison Container Handling Solutions
Morrison Container Handling supplies customized solutions for container rinsing applications that remove unwanted particles using a stream of air or water, depending on the application. Morrison's rising solution inverts containers using timing screw technology to positively control and accurately present them to the rinser nozzle. After the air or water rinse is complete, timing screws revert the container right side up and present it back to the conveyor to continue down the production line. This solution can be integrated into existing lines and is wash-down friendly.
