Altor Solutions provides industrial protective packaging for goods exposed to demanding supply chains, regulatory requirements, and durability needs. Options include EmeraldPak, a recycled foam solution; Rational Shapes, paper-based components for stacking, clamping and bracing; Bio EPS with an additive to accelerate degradation; traditional EPS for lightweight, cost-effective protection; and Bioffex, a 100% bio-based, commercially compostable material. These solutions can be configured for heavy-duty protection, custom-engineered designs, and specific handling conditions, and can be paired with testing to evaluate drop, shock, vibration and other performance criteria.

Altor’s engineers design off-the-shelf and custom solutions, drawing on decades of thermal and packaging expertise for a range of packaging services. Using advanced thermal modeling tools, they simulate performance to identify hot spots, reactions and other behaviors before investing in tooling and materials. Testing and validation capabilities include simulation and functional thermal testing in an ISTA Standard 20 certified lab, with DQ, OQ protocols and reports. The same lab environment supports Performance Qualification (PQ) for drop, shock, vibration and thermal verification in both cold chain and protective packaging applications for a wide range of products globally.
