Campbell's product distribution system automatically distributes up to several thousand products per minute to various individual flow wrapping machines. Each module in the system is fully interfaced to the product backlog and supply system, ensuring consistent feeding to the wrappers on the production line. Systems feature sanitary machine design allows for easy clean-up, a reliable Allen-Bradley control system and flow buffering at each wrapper station. Diverters, transpositors, and chicane systems are available.

Campbell flow wrappers are designed for a wide range of food and non-food applications. Machine models, available for a variety of film types, include fin seal wrappers, designed for wrapping products such as bakery, bars, confections, individually wrapped slices of cheese, and sandwiches at high speeds. Shrink wrappers achieve rates of 300 ppm in applications including baby/tub wipes, greeting cards, pizzas, stacks of paper, sticker cards, tortilla shells, and more. Other wrappers include on-edge flow wrappers, inverted wrappers, dual lane wrappers and side-seal wrappers.

Campbell’s automatic feeding equipment for wrapping applications provides synchronized flight loading of products onto the wrapper infeed. Company’s non-contact feeders are designed for delicate or sticky products such as bars or items that cannot be exposed to backlog pressure. Light-contact feeders employ servo drives to accumulate products with light backlog pressure and automatically meter incoming products into a flighted conveyor chain. Grouping feeders accept a random or intermittent supply of product and transform it into a light-contact or non-contact accumulated backlog of product, suitable for metering to a wrapper infeed, feeding two, three and four counts per flight. On-edge cookie/cracker feeder systems are also available from Campbell Wrapper.
