DJS

DJS supplies trim press equipment used in the manufacturing of cups for the food service industry. Its disposable food service packaging automation systems are designed for automatic handling of stacks—whether cups, lids, or other thermoformed products—directly from the trim press. DJS trim press automation systems connect to the trim press with up to four tiers and can be changed over to accommodate different tooling configurations. When the trim press reaches the set count, rows of product are ejected into the Trim Press Automation (TPA) system.

DJS supplies hand loaded, indexing conveyor systems to handle bulk food service items, such as manually loaded products, such as cups, lids, plates and trays. For cup diverting, systems take a single lane of product and divert it into several different lanes, or divert several lanes down to a single lane. In the conveyor system, pre-counted stacks of trays, plates, or other items are loaded onto the indexing conveyor, which moves stacks along to an overhead loader. The overhead loader then loads the stack into a vertical bagger.

Servo counter/bagger systems from DJS count and strip stacks of paper, plastic or foam cups for packaging, with a capacity of 60+ strips per minute. Using laser eyes for high speed/high accuracy counting, system features positive placement of stacks into bagger or other downstream equipment. If there is an issue, the stack is rejected left or right. DJS also designs customized, automated solutions for disposable food service product handling problems.
