OPTX™ shrink wrappers and shrink packers are designed to maximize performance, simplicity and package quality. The OPTX S-60 shrink wrapper, which runs up to 60 cycles/min, features a film roller design that counteracts wrinkles and overlapping induced by variations in film to help improve cutting efficiency and package quality. OPTX SPS-30/60 shrink packers integrate loose product collating, tray packing and shrink wrapping in a single unit.

Prisma® is a flexible and reliable variety pack system designed to handle high quality, consistent finished packages in virtually any combination with exceptional flexibility for product changeover and evolving trends, including cartons, shrink bundles, cases and trays. Prisma’s manual unload stations enable personnel to manually unload flavor varieties, delivering product to flavor lanes that feed packaging equipment. Prisma automated unloaders receive multiple lanes of supply product trays, unload and deliver product to flavor lanes that feed packaging equipment. Douglas also manufactures other related specialty equipment such as lane dividers, mergers and stackers.

Douglas Machine offers multipacking equipment including multipack cartoners and sleevers. Spectrum® Multipackers continuous motion cartoners are designed for less downtime, high efficiencies, and low operating costs during the multipacking of soft drink, brewery, dairy or nutraceutical products. Multipacking cartoner runs at speeds to 2,400 cans or 1,400 bottles per minute and can run four to 24 single tier packs. Apex™ high-speed, sleeving machines are designed for wraparound, drop-through or neck-through sleeve configurations.

Featured machines include the CpONE™ case packer, designed to offer simplicity in operation and maintenance as well as scalability for different applications, speeds and investment levels. Configurations available to match any speed requirement between 5 to 45 cpm. The Axiom® IM case packer and tray packer offers speed and efficiency for demanding applications, handling up to 45 cases or trays/minute. Features include intermittent motion as well as custom inline, right angle or counter flow infeed options.
