Sustainability
HexcelPack is proud to use 100% sustainable and renewable paper from Canada. Canadian forests used for lumber do not clear cut and culling the trees prior to 50 years in age eliminate forest fires as dead wood is virtually eliminated. The tree trunk is used to make lumber and the lumber waste is delivered to the paper mills. The animals within the forest thrive, the lumber sequesters thousands of tons of carbon yearly and the waste, the smaller branches that are rejected, become paper. The stripped bark supplies all the energy required for the mills. HexcelPack specifically picked Canada for its source of paper for the strict guidelines it places on industry and local government for wood harvesting and sustainability. The Canadian government takes forest management very seriously.
