Modula Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) by Modula Inc. offer automated vertical storage systems designed to reclaim up to 90% of floor space by using ceiling height for storage. Inventory is stored on adjustable trays that automatically deliver goods to operators at an ergonomic pick height, following a goods-to-person model that enhances productivity, picking accuracy, and safety. Modula Lift, the flagship model, supports up to 120 trays per hour and up to 990 kg (2,200 lb) tray payload, with configurations for internal or external delivery bays and single or dual tray delivery to match workflow demands. Trays offer dynamic adjustable height, enabling high storage density and real-time optimization of space between shelves. Access is controlled via a user-friendly Copilot touchscreen controller or barcode scan, and integrated warehouse management system (WMS) software enables traceable picking, inventory monitoring, and secure authorization at the tray level. Modula VLMs are modular and scalable, with options including Modula Slim for narrow spaces, Modula Next for high-precision picking, and FlexiBox for rapid bin handling, making them adaptable to industries including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and e-commerce.
