Specializing in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) machines, ORICS offers a wide range of manual and automatic filling machines for virtually any product that is packaged in tubs, trays or cups. ORICS' extensive product line includes rotary vacuum gas flush equipment, straight line sealers, continuous motion units, heat shrink tray sealers and more. Featured tray and cup filling machines include the MR-35, ORICS’ most affordable rotary packaging system. The MR-35 will denest containers, fill and heat seal in a roughly 36 inch square footprint and handles small single serve containers and fill, seal and overcap at speeds of up to 30 cycles per minute. The R-20 is ORICS’ most popular machine for the growing refrigerated ready meal and fresh food markets. With a maximum performance of 10-25 cycles per minute (20-50 packages), the affordable R-20 is designed for medium-volume MAP applications. Linear packaging systems include the Orics SLTS straight line tray and cup sealing machine SLTS-850, running case-ready MAP applications, ready meals, fresh and frozen prepared meals, fresh produce and more. ORICS also manufactures manual tray and cup fillers and sealers, including the M-10 table top tray and cup sealer that can accommodate trays of virtually any size or shape for small volume packaging applications.

In addition to its line of modified atmosphere packaging products, ORICS supplies food processing equipment, including cheese depositors and garnish applicators. The CD-2X2 Shredded Cheese Depositor is designed to layer accurate amounts of shredded cheese onto a continuous motion line of trays in an industrial packaging process. It can also be utilized for IQF vegetables and meats. ORICS’s Garnish Applicators are designed to layer precise amounts of spices and other small, dry particulate material in a specific pattern in food products. Available in many custom configurations dependent upon the type of product, volume and dispensing pattern required.

ORICS offers liquid filling systems including the VF-ND-3200 Volumetric Filler and TP-1G-1000 Filler Transfer Pump. The VF-ND-3200, an air-powered pneumatic piston filler, operates in high-volume cup and tray filling applications, capable of up to 50 cycles per minute. Its non-splash, non-drip nozzle system ensures precision with a mere 0.2% volume deviation, allowing it to deliver up to 32 ounces of product seamlessly. ORICS’ TP-1G-1000 Piston Transfer Pump facilitates the gentle movement of viscous products from a cooking kettle to volumetric piston fillers or other destinations, preserving the product's texture and preventing the crushing of particulate content.

The ORICS FFS-30 Form-Fill-Seal is an inline, intermittent motion sealing system that forms trays, cups and pouches in realtime from rollstock film. By forming trays online, this system has the ability to save the user tens of thousands of dollars by eliminating FFS-30the costs associated with purchasing and shipping pre-formed trays. With a simple tooling change, this flexible system is capable of creating multiple tray/pouch sizes and configurations. Film may be flexible, semi-rigid, or rigid (with some restrictions). Final package may be ambient, vacuumed (drawn tight around the product), gas flushed to create a gas/air filled package or vacuum gas flushed to create a true Modified Atmosphere (MAP) package.
