Orion Packaging Systems offers a range of equipment for securing and stabilizing pallet loads, including automatic and semi-automatic stretch wrapping equipment, rotary turntables, rotary towers, and horizontal wrapping systems. Featured amongst Orion’s line is the Flex LPA Low Profile Automatic, a low-profile, portable automatic stretch wrapping system with a 5,000-lb maximum load capacity. Like other machines in Orion’s Flex A product line, this model eliminates the need for operators to attach and cut the stretch film. Operators simply place the pallet load on the machine, and pull a lanyard switch while backing away. The machine will perform the entire wrap cycle automatically without the need for an operator to tie the film tail to the load at the beginning of the cycle, and detach it at the end. This set-up is designed to impact the efficiency of stretch packaging operation by keeping operators busy with other tasks while the machine is wrapping.
