Ossid supplies the ReeTray 30, an entry-level, semi-automatic tray sealing machine designed to meet the production needs of small to medium size processors. Machine is ideal for large processors looking to run test batches prior to a product launch or larger machine purchase, for ambient, modified atmosphere (MAP) and vacuum skin (VSP) sealing of pre-made trays. Applications include sealing trays of beef patties, salmon steaks, chicken wings, sausages, rib-eye steaks and more. Machine features a simple set-up and functionality.

Ossid manufactures medical horizontal form/fill/seal (hf/f/s) machines that can be customized to each customer's product needs and offer high speeds and versatility in packaging formats. These medical device packaging machines are designed and built in accordance with the AMI sanitary principles and can be built for clean room environments. Ossid thermoform packaging machines, tray sealers, and vacuum skin packaging (VSP) equipment includes the ReeMatic Series of automatic tray sealers designed to meet the needs of medium to high level processors who produce ambient, modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and vacuum skin pack (VSP) packaging. The ReeMatic 150 has a multi-lane tray loading conveyor customizable from one to six tracks. The ReeMatic 250 has a multi-lane tray loading conveyor customizable from one to four tracks. The tray transport system is driven by pusher rods guiding the trays down the line in a step by step movement, leading onto the defined die-set position.

Ossid designs labeling equipment to fit a variety of needs, including high-speed print-and-apply labelers (HSL) and weigh price labeling equipment (WPL). Ossid’s HSL are a complete stand-alone printing and labeling system, capable of applying pre-printed labels or print and apply labels to packaged products in a wide variety of industries with speeds of up to 175 packages/min. The Ossid NextGen Weigh Price Labeler (WPL) has been completely redesigned from the ground up, with a new modularized assembly allowing for short lead and delivery time and an all-new control system. The hybrid control system combines machine controls and system software into one processing unit, allowing for faster weighing, processing, and labeling times, translating into more packages per minute.

Ossid offers a series of in-motion scales for end-of-line applications in a variety of industries within distribution centers and food processing facilities. The CS series end-of-line scales can be configured as case weighing, weigh price labeling, or a combination of both. Ossid’s CS50, CS100 and CS120 in-motion case scales are capable of weighing cases up to 29.5 inches in length and up to 120 lbs with +/- 0.1 lb tolerance. With the use of Microsoft SQL, seamless integration can easily be achieved. The case scales can be used in any type of facility from medical device to poultry production and can achieve speeds up to 45 cases per minute, offering both speed and versatility. Customization of applications is possible with Ossid’s in-house development team.
