Blow Molding & Trimming Machines(7 companies)
Equipment that melts plastic pellets before extruding them through a die to form rigid containers such as plastic bottles and vials. Trimming machines remove excess plastic material immediately following the blow molding process.
Graham Engineering Corp.
Graham Engineering Company manufactures blow molding equipment and industrial extrusion solutions. Graham Engineering offers package design, development, and plastic processing expertise. Machines produce monolayer, multilayer, and plastic containers and parts of all shapes and sizes.
Haumiller Engineering Company
Haumiller equipment assembles many of the most common packages, especially for bottled drinks and food packages that incorporate multi-piece dispensing closures and caps. Haumiller’s positive part-handling techniques and expertise with wide variations in part configurations have provided effective solutions for many consumable products in many households today, including ketchup packages, sports drink dispensing closures, flavored creamer packaging, soft drink syrup delivery valves, salad dressing closures, tamper-evident caps, stadium condiment pumps, rotor-closure assemblies for ground cheeses, spices, etc., and much more.
JBT Corporation-FoodTech Division
The BottleTec blow molder from JBT produces lightweight HDPE bottles in almost any possible shape. The molds are easily changed to accommodate different container designs, accommodating open, non-sterile and closed, internally sterile versions. Compact blow molder can produce bottles ranging in sizes from 0.2 liters to 1.5 liters (7 oz. to 50 oz.) at rates of up to 7,500 bottles/hour at full speed.
In 1.6 seconds, Krones' stretch blow molders from the Contiform 3 series transmute a preform into a PET bottle. With an output of 2,750 bottles per blow-molding station, they produce PET containers at a speed of 82,500 bottles per hour. Design enhancements at carefully chosen points like the oven, the stretching system and the air recycling unit reduce the machine’s appetite for energy and compressed air.
The Serac Blow Linear (SBL) series of PET blow molding machines are a solution for medium-size bottle fillers who want to keep control of their transporting and storing costs, while optimizing the quality of their bottles. Serac PET bottle manufacturing machines are designed to produce formats ranging from very large, such as 5 liters edible oil containers, to as small as 50 ml for samples or premium products.
Whether transparent or opaque, and across PET, recycled PET (up to 100% rPET), and refillable PET (refPET), the Sidel EvoBLOW range of bottle blowing machines offers customized packaging shapes and formats with lightweighting possibilities. Sidel EvoBLOW Aseptic is supplied mainly in Combi configuration including preform sterilization, blowing, filling and capping for beverage and dairy applications. Sidel Aseptic Combi Predis™ aseptically produces PET packaging for teas, juices, nectars, isotonics and liquid dairy products (such as UHT milk or soy milk).
SMI USA Inc
SMI’s rotary stretch blow molders are available both in standalone and combination versions to ensure high performances in the stretch blow molding of PET, PEN and PP bottles, mainly used for the food, beverage and detergent industries. Range of stretch blow molders includes three EBS K ERGON models, from 2 to 4 cavities, for the production of PET bottles with a maximum output of 2,300 bph/cavity, depending on machine model and product. Company also offers seven EBS E ERGON models, from 4 to 16 cavities, for PET bottle production with outputs up to 2,300 bph/cavity.
