A&D Inspection manufactures checkweighing, X-ray inspection, and metal detection equipment for packaging applications in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries. In-motion checkweighers include the 600g, a model that can process up to 400 pieces per minute with an overall system length under 3 ft. The ProteX Series of x-ray inspectors uses advanced algorithms in a compact design to provide inspection for contaminants such as metals and bone fragments, but also consumer quality issues, such as clumps, missing or damaged product, and broken seals. A&D Inspection's metal detector line includes several models, among them the DeteX series, with high sensitivity and washdown rating as well as heavy-duty metal detectors with carrying load capacity of up to 150 lb. for applications requiring direct food contact (i.e., cheese, dairy, meat, poultry and fish).
