Thompson Scale offers a wide variety of package sorting, diverting and rejecting devices that can be tailor made to customer packaging lines, including blast air nozzles, case diverters, pushers, drop-nose diverters, swing arm diverters, bump cylinder pushers and more. Each device is operated by a double-acting solenoid valve, and includes a lockable shut-off valve and filter-regulator, and typically includes pneumatic poly tube fittings. Some devices are available with or without conveyors, and many can be manufactured in either painted mild steel or stainless steel and rated for wash-down environments.

Thompson Scale offers a core line of numerous checkweighers, designed for many years of service, allowing customers to run without constantly upgrading obsolete hardware or replacing mechanical parts every few months. Thompson Scales’ core models include the Heavy-Duty Checkweigher, a rugged model available in powder-coated mild steel or all stainless steel for wash-down or corrosive environments that provides highly accurate weight for the concrete, cement, salt and chemicals industries at rates to 50/minute and capacities to 1,000kg. TSC 350 is a drag chain style checkweigher for rigid packages such as cans, jars or small cartons of coffee, canned food, pet food, nutraceutical, paint, adhesives, produce and candies. Color touch screen scale controls hold 100 recipes in memory, user-set for 3 or 5 zone (low reject, low pass, good, high pass and high reject) outputs.

Thompson Scale’s 930 Data Logger connects to any type of scale device sending out individual single data transmissions for each weight value, at rates up to 400 weights per minute. Connects to an in-motion or bench-top checkweigh scale or to filling system controls with a RS-232 or RS-422 output port. The weight data logger automatically logs each weight value to the included 2GB thumb drive.
