Thomas Automation Management's Scorpion Laser Series offers high-precision CO₂ laser systems for industrial paper perforation. Utilizing Coherent® J Series resonators, these systems feature external optics with HAAS® and LTI mirror assemblies and a DOE lens-based beam splitter for dual-row perforation from a single beam. Controlled by Siemens Step 7 Series Controllers with FM 352-5 Boolean Processors, they achieve 1μs sampling resolution without requiring a PC platform. The Scorpion 3 model delivers ≥250W nominal power and ≥750W peak power, while the Scorpion 6 offers ≥450W nominal (550–650W delivered) and 1800W peak power, both with modulation pulse ranges from 2μs to 1000μs. These systems are designed for seamless integration into converting lines, providing efficient and precise perforation capabilities
